When a struggling single mother discovers she’s pregnant again, her world splits into two, forcing her to face the weight of both choices.

These stills are a part of a test shoot for my upcoming MFA thesis film, which explores the emotional and psychological impact of an unplanned pregnancy through the lens of a single mother navigating two possible futures. The goal of this shoot was to experiment with visual and narrative techniques—specifically lighting transitions, camera movement, and prop continuity—to represent the seamless shift from reality into an imagined timeline. It served as both a technical trial and a creative exploration to refine the visual language of the final film.​​
